Bio

Sofia Sanchez is a lingerie designer-maker and interdisciplinary artist interested in the relationship between language and the body. She works across lingerie and corsetry, writing and book-making, drawing, performance and video.

Her commercial and artistic practices are currently centred around the corset. She is interested in the undisciplining of corsetry techniques as a form of feminist liberatory play and is currently developing a series of corsetted animal sculptures.
